Local vs. Body as Church

RESTORE or Restoration originates in the very nature and heart of God, whose loving purpose extends beyond salvation to the renewal of mankind and all creation according to His original design and intention.

NATIONS: According to the loving purpose of God's heart, the redemption offered through the Gospel of Jesus Christ extends to all nations, with the ultimate aim of their restoration. This is accomplished as believers, empowered by the Spirit and equipped, preach the gospel and make disciples from every people group."

CHURCH: The word "ecclesia" is the transliteration of the Greek word  “ ἐκκλησία," which means chosen ones who are called out by Christ and assembly or congregation of believers of Christ." 

 

In the New Testament, it is primarily used to refer to the church, the body of believers called out by God from the world to congregate.

• This congregation can be in local areas known as the Local church and there can be many local churches 

• When we consider all the churches of believers called out by God to congregate across the world, we call it the Universal body or the Bod of Christ
